MEZCLA began in 1996 when a group of established artists in Alburquerque organized themselves as a venue for making their works available to the local community. Founding members are Bernadette K. Rodriguez, the late Cecilio 'Xilo' Garcia Camarillo, Ana Guerrera, Oscar Lozoya, and Patricio Tlacaelel Trujillo y Fuentes. The group has gone on to include artists Delilah Montoya, Maria Baca, and others. Since its inception the group has exhibited in New Mexico, Denver, and Florida. Individually members have had their works displayed worldwide.  Please join us in a celebration of ten years of showing in and around Alburquerque. OUT OF THE PAST INTO THE FUTURE  will be on display this September through October 2005 at the KiMo theatre gallery.
